Full Auto DivisionDownload Sub-Gun Match rules here (updated April 22, 2014) Download Belt-Fed Match rules here (updated July 2011) The rules governing all the Full Auto Division matches. Please read through the information provided below. If you have any questions please contact the match director via email at fullauto@rsscaz.com. Everyone is welcome to come out to watch any of the matches. It is not required but highly recommend that you try shooting one of the IDPA, or IPSC type pistol matches before moving on to a Subgun or Belt Fed match. You must supply all your own equipment including firearm, ammo, magazines, magazine pouches and all needed safety equipment. The Subgun matches will be held on the Practical Pistol bays and the Belt Fed match will be held on the High Power range. If you are a new shooter you will be required to shoot the match with one of the experienced shooters that will point out any safety issues and answer any questions. The stages for both the Subgun and Belt Fed matches will be a mixture of fun and tactical targets. They will always test your shooting abilities. The stage RO will make any rulings required. If required, the Match Director will be the final authority on any ruling. Once you leave the range your score is final. The dates for all matches are posted on the Calendar of Events at http://www.rsscaz.com/events the calendar is updated to reflect any matches that have been cancelled for various reasons Please keep track of your time card. If it is lost during any match you have a couple of choices.
Hopefully the above choices will clearly indicate DON”T LOSE YOUR SCORE CARD.
SUBGUN MATCH INFORMATIONThe Thursday Night Subgun match is held on the second Thursday of each month starting at 5:00 P.M. The regular 5th Saturday matches start at 9:00 A.M. in the wintertime and 8:00 A.M. in the Summer time. Check the Rio Salado Calendar of Events for the latest information. The following safety rules MUST be followed during the Subgun match. The Thursday evening match will be 3 stages, the regular 5th Saturday/Sunday match will be 4 stages, the State match will be 6 stages, all using IPSC style scoring. M1 Carbines have been determined to be acceptable, but MUST fire FACTORY lead core ammo ONLY. Semi- autos are welcome and will be in a different class as to not be in direct competiton with te full autos. Most shooters use about 200-400 rounds total for a regular 5th Saturday match, twice that for the state match and half that amount (100-200) for the Thursday evening match. Thursday night match fee is $15.00, regular 5th Saturday match fee will be $15.00; See the state match page for current registration fees.
BELT FED MATCH INFORMATIONThe Beltfed match is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month on the High Power range. The match will start about 1:30 P.M. or as soon as possible after the 2 Gun Rifle/Shotgun match. Signups will begin at 1:00 PM. Check the Calendar of Events for the latest information. The following safety rules MUST be followed during the Belt Fed match. The regular match will typically be 1 or 2 stages, and may be timed events or NRA ring scoring. NRA target scoring rules will be used. Do not shoot any targets on the High Power range other than the match targets.
The following firearms are acceptable to use during the Beltfed match
Shooters will normally shoot about 200 rounds total. A tripod with T&E would be highly recommended. Sandbags of any number many be used. Match fee will be $10.00
